On October 14, 2026, representatives of ALT University named after Mukhametzhan Tynyshpayev participated in the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Technologies in Transport and Logistics,” organized by the Russian University of Transport (MIIT) in Moscow, Russian Federation.

The university was represented online by Muslim Aikumbekov, Director of the School of Business and Candidate of Technical Sciences; Saule Bekzhanova, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor at the Department of Logistics and Business; and Anar Nemasipova, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Logistics and Business.

During the conference, Anar Nemasipova participated as a speaker in the panel session “Digital Transformation of the Transport Sector: Challenges for Education and Workforce Development.”

The session focused on preparing highly qualified professionals for the digital transformation of the transport industry, including the integration of artificial intelligence, big data, digital platforms, intelligent transportation systems, and industrial process automation. Particular attention was given to modernizing educational programs and strengthening cooperation between transport universities and employers.

Anar Nemasipova delivered a presentation entitled “Transformation of Transport and Logistics Educational Programs in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Integrating Engineering, Digital Competencies, and Labor Market Requirements.”

The presentation introduced a curriculum modernization model developed by ALT University representatives for the educational programs “Transport Logistics,” “Digital Logistics,” “Organization of Transportation, Traffic and Transport Operations,” and “Logistics (by Industry).”

The proposed model integrates Kazakhstan’s existing professional standards, emerging competencies identified in the Atlas of New Professions and Competencies, and evidence-based approaches to engineering education.

The central conclusion emphasized that preparing graduates for modern labor market demands requires more than simply adding individual digital courses to curricula. Instead, it calls for systematic alignment between professional job functions, learning outcomes, practical assignments, and assessment criteria.

The participation of ALT University representatives in the international conference contributed to the exchange of academic expertise, discussions on the future of digital transformation in transport education, and stronger professional connections among transport universities.

ALT University continues to enhance its educational programs and research approaches to meet the evolving needs of the transport and logistics industry, prepare competitive professionals, and promote the adoption of modern technological solutions.
