ALT University has successfully concluded the professional development course “Traffic Management,” organized for cadets of the Makan Esbulatov Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Upon completion of the training, participants were officially presented with certificates.
Designed as part of continuing professional education, the course was aimed at enhancing the qualifications of specialists in traffic management and road network safety.
The primary objective of the program was to equip cadets with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in organizing safe road traffic utilizing technical regulation tools, innovative traffic flow management technologies, and modern road safety frameworks.
Throughout the program, participants examined technical means of traffic organization, their specifications, and installation protocols across road networks. Special emphasis was placed on traffic accident analysis, identifying high-risk locations and bottlenecks, traffic routing under varying road conditions, road network inventory and documentation, as well as the operational activities of agencies responsible for maintaining road safety.
The certificate award ceremony took place on July 24 at ALT University. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Andrey Alexandrovich Ivanov, Vice-Rector for Corporate and Social Development at ALT University; Rolan Diasovich Kurbanov, Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative and Legal Disciplines at the Almaty Academy of the MIA of RK; and Serik Shimbulatovich Abibullayev, Associate Professor at ALT University and Candidate of Technical Sciences.
The speakers highlighted the importance of continuous professional growth for law enforcement personnel, noting that advancing expertise in traffic management contributes to refining the overall road safety system and implementing modern engineering solutions into transport infrastructure.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, 18 cadets received their certificates of completion. The event concluded with a joint group photograph.
ALT University continues to expand its continuing professional education programs, combining academic rigor and practical competence to train highly qualified specialists who meet the contemporary demands of the transport sector and public safety.
