From July 9 to July 17, 2026, students of the ALT University geodetic detachment completed their practical training in Aktau, conducting engineering and geodetic (surveying) operations across local railway infrastructure facilities.
As part of their fieldwork, the students performed geodetic surveying at the Mangyshlak station, as well as at the “Aktau-Port,” “Stroitelny,” “Khimichesky,” “Yubileyny,” and “Manevrovy” stations located within Aktau.
During the field operations, students successfully applied their academic knowledge to real-world tasks, operated modern geodetic equipment, and gained hands-on expertise in executing engineering-geodetic surveys directly on active railway infrastructure sites.
Practical training in actual operational environments enhances the professional qualifications of future specialists and strengthens ties between the university and transport industry enterprises.
