Today, ALT University hosted a ceremony of honoring veterans of the Department for the delivery of military messages and transportation by air, water and rail. This important event was organized in order to evaluate the merits of veterans and set an example for the next generation.
During the ceremony, the participants analyzed the history of the past and the current situation, touched upon important conversations. Veterans told about their difficulties and achievements on the way to military service and gave young people instructive advice. They emphasized the importance of serving the country by conscientiously fulfilling their duties.
At the solemn meeting, veterans of military messages and transportation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were honored and awarded. The university administration highly appreciated the work of invited guests and veterans, noting that their work in front of the country is not forgotten. In addition, in order to promote patriotism and responsibility to the younger generation, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the great victory on behalf of the Presidium of the Almaty Council of veterans, the badge of the 100th anniversary named after General of the Army Sagadat Nurmagambetov was presented to the vice-rector for corporate and social development Ivanov Andrey Alexandrovich.
Such events are a good initiative aimed at strengthening patriotism, respect for the merits of our veterans.
The students were especially impressed by the stories of veterans on their way to service.
