The talk supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education, and Goal 9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by developing modern digital skills, practice-based learning and the ability to create innovative solutions.

On 15 October 2026, ALT University hosted a guest lecture for IT students on vibe coding and building digital systems with artificial intelligence agents. The lecture was delivered by Nurgaliyev Zhangirkhan Saparuly, Director of Energy System Logistics.

Energy System Logistics is an Astana Hub resident company that develops digital solutions for energy automation. Its team works with major consumers in the wholesale electricity market, analyses market conditions and helps companies achieve savings measured in hundreds of millions.

The central message of the lecture was that students can begin building real digital products now. An artificial intelligence agent can quickly prepare a first code draft, while the developer must understand the system, review the result, fix errors and bring the product to real users.

Participants explored the stages of turning an idea into a working system: defining the task, drawing the architecture, setting boundaries and data requirements, checking the agent’s output, removing unnecessary features, launching the product and testing it with a real user.

The speaker presented examples of projects that students can build, including customer services, WhatsApp CRM tools, mobile interfaces, personal finance trackers, warehouse notifications and systems that work with industry data, including energy data.

Students were encouraged to select a small practical problem, draw the system before writing a prompt, read the agent-generated code carefully and ask another person to test the result. This approach develops curiosity, critical judgment and the persistence needed to launch a project.

The speaker also shared his experience in building software products for startups. The company runs a free Telegram community where entrepreneurs can refine an idea, select a technical approach and take their first steps towards launch. Around seven new software product ideas are shared in the community every day.

The guest lecture provided a valuable learning experience for IT students interested in programming, artificial intelligence and digital product development.
