On August 6, 2026, ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev welcomed a delegation comprising representatives from government bodies and the educational community. The delegation included officials from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Education of the Mangystau Region, higher education institutions, as well as local government authorities and public organizations.
The visit was attended by Arslan Seriktegi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ALT University; Meruert Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University; alongside vice-rectors and heads of structural divisions.
As part of the itinerary, the delegation explored ALT University’s modern infrastructure. Guests were given a guided tour of the campus, including academic buildings, specialized laboratories, innovative learning hubs, and facilities established in partnership with leading industry enterprises.
Special focus was placed on the university’s practice-oriented model for engineering education, the integration of advanced technologies into the learning process, and the continuous enhancement of material and technical assets.
Following the campus tour, a working meeting was held, during which Meruert Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector of ALT University, presented the university’s strategic roadmap, key focus areas in education, research, and international relations, as well as ongoing initiatives aimed at modernizing engineering education.
During the discussion, participants addressed key questions regarding the advancement of engineering disciplines, strengthening inter-university cooperation, adopting modern educational technologies, and training highly qualified professionals for the transport, logistics, industrial, and construction sectors.
The visit served as a valuable platform for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the discussion of future collaborative opportunities in engineering education and workforce development.
