On July 3, 2026, the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University held a grand graduation ceremony to honor the latest cohort of the Institute of Logistics and Business. For the graduating class, this day symbolized the closing of a major life chapter and the successful launch of a promising professional journey.
The ceremony commenced with a video address from Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who congratulated the Class of 2026 on their successful graduation and wished them continuous future success.
Chair of the Board – Rector of ALT University, Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, delivered an inspiring valedictory address. As part of the proceedings, she personally presented master’s degrees to postgraduate students who successfully completed their tracks and demonstrated high-level professional competence.
A centerpiece of the ceremony was the presentation of an official letter of appreciation and a merit badge from the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” (To the People of Kazakhstan) Foundation to graduate Shyngys Maksatovich Kylyshbek. This high award served as institutional recognition for his outstanding academic excellence and proactive civic engagement.
During the event, university activists who contributed significantly to the development of student life and public initiatives were recognized with letters of appreciation. Special tribute was also paid to the parents of the graduates, who received official letters of appreciation for their unwavering support, dedication to upbringing, and vital role in shaping future industry specialists.
Bekbolat Bakytzhanovich Akpanov, Head of the Almaty-2 Railway Station, attended the ceremony as a guest of honor. He congratulated the graduates on this milestone event and participated in presenting honors degrees to the top-performing students of the institute.
On behalf of the graduating class, Ulzhan Ospankyzy Darmenbaeva delivered a vote of thanks. She expressed deep gratitude to the faculty, mentors, and parents for the support and comprehensive knowledge acquired during their years of study.
The day proved to be uniquely momentous for the graduates of the Military Department. In a formal ceremony, they were presented with shoulder boards and commissioned with their first officer rank—the rank of Lieutenant. This honorary mission was executed by the Deputy Head of the Military Department, Colonel (Res.) Nurlan Maratovich Seksenbaev.
