On July 3, 2026, the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University held a grand graduation ceremony to honor the latest cohort of the Institute of Transport and Construction. This year’s event carried profound significance as the university proudly celebrates its 95th anniversary since its founding.
The ceremony commenced with a video address from Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who congratulated the Class of 2026 on their successful graduation and wished them outstanding professional milestones.
Chair of the Board – Rector of ALT University, Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, delivered an inspiring valedictory address. She emphasized that every single graduate represents the ultimate pride of the university and serves as a direct torchbearer of its historic legacy.
As part of the proceedings, academic degrees were presented to master’s students who successfully completed their postgraduate tracks. A highlight of the event was the presentation of an official letter of appreciation and a merit badge from the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” (To the People of Kazakhstan) Foundation to graduate Akzhol Izbazaruly Akkoishiev for his exceptional academic excellence and proactive civic engagement.
Special tribute was paid to the parents of the graduates. Official letters of appreciation were awarded to the families of students who provided unwavering support to their children throughout their academic years, contributing heavily to their development into future industry professionals.
On behalf of the graduating class, Nursayat Kurbanbek and Aikyn Kaiyrbekov delivered a vote of thanks. They expressed deep gratitude to the faculty, mentors, and parents for the support, knowledge, and invaluable experience acquired within the university walls.
The day proved to be uniquely momentous for the graduates of the Military Department. In a formal ceremony, they were presented with shoulder boards and commissioned with their first officer rank—the rank of Lieutenant. This honorary mission was executed by the Deputy Head of the Military Department, Colonel (Res.) Nurlan Maratovich Seksenbaev.
The diplomas were presented to the graduates by Nurgul Zinabdinovna Suleeva, Director of the Institute of Transport and Construction.
