Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University hosted a comprehensive campus tour and career guidance assembly for college graduates representing technical institutions across Kazakhstan. The event welcomed students from the Shymkent, Aktau, and Astana ALT Colleges, the Almaty College of the Academy of Logistics and Transport (ACALT), and the Astana Higher College of Transport and Communications.
Participants explored the university’s academic campus, research laboratories, and educational facilities. University admissions leaders detailed application procedures, passing cutoff scores, state educational grant options, and accelerated degree pathways for vocational graduates.
As part of the program, prospective students participated in a regional hackathon, testing their technical problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills. The team from Shymkent ALT College took first place in the competition.
The assembly held special resonance as ALT University celebrates its 95th-anniversary milestone. In recognition of academic excellence, top-performing college students were presented with commemorative 95th-anniversary badges.
The initiative established an active platform for knowledge exchange, institutional collaboration between secondary vocational colleges and the university, and student transition into higher engineering education.
