As part of advancing professional development for specialized sectors, a comprehensive training program under the “Road Safety” educational curriculum has officially commenced for cadets of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Now in its second consecutive year, this course runs on a permanent basis to elevate the quality of training for future professionals in traffic safety enforcement.
The educational program is the result of a highly effective synergy between two ministries—the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan—alongside two leading higher education institutions: the Almaty Academy of the MIA and ALT University.
Within the curriculum, the participants will study key areas of traffic and infrastructure management, including:

Road traffic organization and engineering;

Maintenance and operation of highways;

Contemporary approaches to ensuring the safety of road users;

Practical aspects of transport safety management.
The total duration of the program is 240 hours.
Upon successful completion of the training, the cadets will be awarded professional certificates. These joint educational initiatives by ALT University and the Almaty Academy of the MIA drive the cultivation of highly qualified specialists capable of meeting modern demands in the field of road and transport safety.
