On October 30, 2026, the executive leadership of ALT University took part in Profit Education Day 2026, a premier specialized conference dedicated to the digital transformation of higher education, artificial intelligence integration, and the advancement of educational technologies across Kazakhstan.
The university was represented at the forum by Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, Chair of the Board – Rector; Shamil Askarovich Abdreshov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Ainur Zhumakanovna Toigozhinova, Director of the School of Technologies; Gulzada Dauletbekovna Musapirova, Head of the Department of Telecommunications; and Nurgul Tletayevna Karymsakova, Head of the Department of Automation and Control.
Organized annually since 2015, Profit Education Day convenes university rectors, government officials, EdTech providers, educational institutions, and IT leaders. The forum serves as an established platform for evaluating industry trends, sharing institutional best practices, and building strategic EdTech partnerships.
This year’s agenda focused on key technological themes: smart digital campuses, generative artificial intelligence, hybrid learning, cloud educational ecosystems, cybersecurity, AR/VR spatial learning tools, and the scaling of Kazakhstan’s domestic EdTech landscape.
A key highlight of the conference program centered on transitioning from conventional digital campus models to an AI-Native University model, utilizing artificial intelligence across academic administration, research, and pedagogy, as well as deploying advanced virtual simulators for engineering and technical training.
For ALT University, participating in such industry forums provides an invaluable opportunity to benchmark leading technological frameworks, evaluate successful peer practices, and define strategic vectors for the institution’s digital roadmap.
In an era of rapid technological advancement, digital transformation has evolved beyond a mere modernization tool into an essential imperative for elevating educational quality and training competitive specialists for the modern labor market.
