On January 27 of the current year, a meaningful meeting on the topic “Law and Order” was held at ALT University for students, with the participation of the Prosecutor of the Almaly District of Almaty.
The main purpose of the event was to foster legal culture among young people, promote respect for the law, and enhance civic responsibility. During the meeting, the prosecutor emphasized the role of legal order in society, noting that compliance with the law is the duty of every citizen. Students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive valuable information through real-life examples.
The meeting was organized within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Goal 16 – “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.” This goal aims to ensure the rule of law, strengthen justice and transparency, and increase legal awareness among citizens.
The event contributed significantly to the development of students’ legal awareness, strengthening trust in the law, and fostering an active civic stance. Such meetings play an important role in educating responsible, conscious future professionals who are ready to contribute to building a just society.
ALT University will continue to implement initiatives aimed at improving legal literacy among youth and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
