As part of the implementation of SDG 16, a lecture was held with students of the Institute of Transport and Construction by Asel Salmanovna Abdikarimova, Senior Prosecutor of the Almalinsky District Prosecutor’s Office in Almaty, on the topic: «Prevention of Violence Among Youth and Protection of Children’s Rights: Preventing Bullying and Child Abuse.»
During the session, issues related to preventing bullying among youth and stopping child abuse were discussed. Participants were informed about the forms of bullying, its possible consequences, as well as the measures of accountability for violence against minors.
The lecture was conducted in an open dialogue format and contributed to increasing the students’ legal awareness.
