On the second day of its official visit to Tashkent, the delegation of Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University signed a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum with INNO Texnopark—one of Uzbekistan’s flagship technology hubs integrating industrial infrastructure, high-tech engineering laboratories, and startup acceleration platforms. This partnership unlocks broad horizons for joint initiatives across digital technologies, robotics, engineering education, and tech entrepreneurship.

The agreement was executed during INNOWEEK–2026, the International Week of Innovative Ideas, which brings together leaders in science, higher education, enterprise, and deep-tech manufacturing globally. This year’s event served as a major forum for presenting advanced technological solutions, debating scientific strategies, and formalizing international inter-institutional ties.

The Memorandum is structured to propel mutual progress in innovation, digital ecosystems, technical education, and applied research. The partner institutions will focus on five key strategic vectors:

  • Innovation & Startups — Experience-sharing in venture project scaling, entrepreneurial support, and commercialization of academic R&D.

  • Engineering & IT Education — Design and delivery of joint training tracks, seminars, technical masterclasses, and guest lectures by industry leaders.

  • Practical Training & Internship — Broadening internship pathways, technical exchanges, and skill-sharing programs for students, researchers, faculty, and resident startup teams.

  • Joint Events — Co-hosting international hackathons, scientific conferences, innovation contests, and applied research forums.

  • Knowledge Exchange — Collaborative development of modular curricula and interdisciplinary projects bridging higher education with industrial production.

For ALT University, this partnership holds high strategic value. As a leading institution training engineers for transport, logistics, civil engineering, IT, and telecommunications, collaborating with INNO Texnopark’s technological infrastructure establishes a robust ecosystem for technical transfer in robotics, rapid prototyping, and startup commercialization.

Crucially, this alliance bridges the gap between academic instruction and real-world industrial challenges. It exemplifies a modern engineering education paradigm—where students move beyond theoretical mastery to actively build functional prototypes, design technical solutions, and commercialize applied research.

The Memorandum execution marks another key milestone in ALT University’s international mission in Tashkent. Partnering with INNO Texnopark accelerates professional exchange between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, creating a lasting platform at the intersection of education, science, technology, and advanced manufacturing.
