ALT University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Almaty City Traffic Management Center and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University).
The meeting provided a platform for professional exchange and discussion of current issues related to the development of urban transport systems, traffic management, transport planning, and the training of specialists for the modern transport industry.
Representatives of the Almaty City Traffic Management Center shared their practical experience in managing traffic flows, organizing road traffic, developing intelligent transport systems, and improving transport infrastructure.
Particular attention was paid to modern approaches to traffic flow analysis and the use of digital technologies and data in urban transport management and decision-making.
Representatives of HSE University presented their academic and research experience in urban and regional development, transport planning, and the analysis of the urban environment. These areas play an important role in the sustainable development of modern cities and the formation of efficient transport systems.
For ALT University, such meetings are important for strengthening practice-oriented education and ensuring that educational programs reflect the current needs of the industry. Cooperation with specialized organizations and leading academic institutions provides additional opportunities to involve experts in the educational process and develop students’ professional competencies.
During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for further cooperation, including joint events, exchange of expertise and experience, participation of industry professionals in the educational process, as well as the development of joint educational and research initiatives.
