Within the framework of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 — “Sustainable Cities and Communities,” maintaining a clean environment, improving public spaces, and fostering environmental awareness are among the key priorities.
In celebration of Republic Day on October 25, ALT University students took part in a clean-up event organized as part of the national environmental campaign “Taza Qazaqstan.” They contributed to cleaning and improving the surrounding area.
The main goal of the event was to promote environmental awareness among young people, strengthen their sense of responsibility for the environment, and encourage everyone to help keep their surroundings clean.
Such initiatives help increase students’ civic engagement, strengthen their connection to their homeland, and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
Taza Qazaqstan — a shared responsibility! This initiative, held in celebration of Republic Day, reflected respect for the country and care for our homeland.
