On September 11, 2026, first-, second-, and fourth-year students of the Economics and Management, Finance, and Management and Business Administration programs at ALT University, under the guidance of K. Zh. Demeuova, Senior Lecturer at ALT University, actively participated in the international Central Asia Fintech Summit 2026 held in Almaty.
Organized by Fintech Network Kazakhstan, the event brought together representatives of the financial sector, government institutions, businesses, as well as the expert and academic communities.
One of the key topics of the forum was the discussion “What Will the Financial Market Look Like in the Next Decade?” Participants discussed the prospects for the development of financial technologies, the banking sector and digital business, as well as the changes expected to shape the financial market of Central Asia in the coming years.
During the forum, the students attended presentations by leading financial sector professionals, including representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, as well as independent experts and industry representatives.
Particular attention was paid to current trends in fintech, digital payments, innovative financial solutions, and the development of the digital financial ecosystem.
Participation in the Central Asia Fintech Summit enabled ALT University students to connect the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies with real-world market cases, gain insight into current industry trends, and develop new ideas for their future professional growth.
Participation in such events contributes to broadening students’ professional horizons, developing analytical thinking, and building competencies that are increasingly in demand in the modern digital economy.
