As part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” and the promotion of the “Law and Order” principle, an urban quest titled “Law in the City” was held among students of higher education institutions in Almaty.
The event aimed to improve young people’s legal literacy, promote awareness of the importance of complying with the law, develop legal culture, and strengthen the principles of law and public order.
ALT University was represented by the “ALTernative” team, whose members demonstrated quick thinking, creativity, logical reasoning and strong teamwork skills at every stage of the quest. The participants completed the tasks collaboratively, applying their legal knowledge in a practical format and gaining valuable new experience.
The “Law in the City” quest contributed not only to expanding students’ legal knowledge, but also to developing respect for the law, awareness of personal rights and responsibilities, and a responsible attitude towards maintaining public order.
Such initiatives play an important role in increasing legal literacy among young people and promoting a conscious commitment to the principles of “Law and Order” in everyday life.
