An ALT University delegation (Vice-Rector Andrey Ivanov, Department Head Dinara Kasymova) visited Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), one of China’s leading higher education institutions.
At the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the leading transport and communications universities of Kazakhstan and China on:
– implementing joint academic mobility programs for students, graduate students, and faculty;
– scientific supervision of doctoral programs;
– incorporating on-site modules at BJTU into ALT University’s MBA programs;
– delivering lectures and teaching individual modules for undergraduate and graduate students;
– joint retraining and professional development for employees of Chinese companies operating in Kazakhstan;
– participation in international projects and trilateral cooperation: Kazakhstan – China – Russia and Kazakhstan China – Malaysia;
– development of student research programs and intercultural exchange.
ALTU and BJTU have begun drafting a Cooperation Agreement, developing a roadmap, and exploring the possibility of creating dual-degree programs and projects to integrate transport and logistics in the Central Asian region.
