As part of the university’s initiative for cultural-educational development and aesthetic enrichment, students of the academic group IT-EE-24-4k completed a guided tour of the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The primary objective of this cultural excursion was to broaden the horizons of future IT and power engineering professionals, foster their aesthetic appreciation, and submerge them in both domestic and international artistic heritage.
During the comprehensive tour, the students examined outstanding masterpieces by acclaimed Kazakh and international artists, exploring the evolution of various artistic movements across history. The museum’s extensive exhibitions showcased premium selections of painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative-applied arts. The engineering students showed exceptional interest in the realistic artworks that meticulously portrayed the history, spiritual values, centuries-old traditions, and daily life of the Kazakh people.
The inspiring creative environment of the nation’s premier art museum left a profound impression on the technical students, helping them grasp the critical role of art as a mirror of societal progress. Such constructive cultural and educational activities actively reinforce the students’ spiritual growth, cultivate sophisticated aesthetic taste, and nurture a fundamental respect for national and global cultural legacies.
