On March 6, 2026, in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, the male staff of the Institute of Military Affairs held a solemn event at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University, which served to create a festive atmosphere and fully comply with SDG No. 3 (Good health and well-being) and SDG No. 5 (Gender Equality).
The festive program began with the participants forming a living corridor through which the invited women solemnly passed. This symbolic gesture became a sign of respect, gratitude and attention to their role and contribution to public life. Further, sports competitions in shooting from pneumatic weapons using elements of an interactive shooting range were organized for the participants. The competitors were able to demonstrate their shooting skills with small arms, and also took part in the shooting with interest, showing confidence, accuracy and good preparation. This event directly contributes to the implementation of SDG No. 5 (Gender Equality).
It all ended with a festive concert, during which musical numbers, congratulations and warm words addressed to the women were performed. The concert program created an atmosphere of joy, appreciation and spring mood, becoming a worthy end to the festive day.
