On March 4 of the current year, a meaningful meeting was held within the walls of the university with the participation of department directors and heads of departments on the topic: “Constitutional Reform – an important change aimed at building a just state and moving the country toward a new stage of development.”
During the meeting, the participants discussed the significance and importance of constitutional reforms in the development of the country, their role in modernizing the public administration system, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms. Particular attention was paid to the contribution of these reforms to strengthening democratic values in society and establishing principles of transparent and accountable governance. In addition, participants exchanged views on institutional transformations on the path toward building a just state and their strategic importance for the country’s new stage of development.
The main objective of the event was to enhance legal culture within the academic community, strengthen civic responsibility in society, and promote shared values through explaining new initiatives in public governance. Such meetings not only increase the university community’s interest in socio-political processes but also contribute to the formation of a conscious civic position and responsibility for the future of the country.
The meeting also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals introduced by the United Nations, particularly Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), which aims to strengthen the rule of law, promote justice in society, and build effective public institutions.
Such meaningful dialogue platforms, combining knowledge and experience, undoubtedly contribute to the shared goal of building a just, open, and sustainable society in the country’s new stage of development.
