Starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, ALT University is implementing a pilot project to integrate the Adaptive Learning Environment (ALE) educational platform — adle.kz — into the learning process for master’s and doctoral students.
The project uses an integrated “Platonus Information System + Adaptive Learning Environment (ALE)” model. The Platonus Information System is used to manage academic processes, including student registration for courses, the development of individual study plans and class schedules, the recording of learning outcomes and GPA, and the preparation of transcripts, administrative orders, and academic reports.
The adle.kz platform complements the capabilities of the Platonus Information System and is intended for hosting educational content and teaching and learning materials, organising classes, completing assignments and tests, monitoring learning outcomes, and facilitating interaction between instructors and master’s and doctoral students.
The implementation of the pilot project contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4, “Quality Education,” which aims to ensure access to high-quality education, introduce modern educational technologies, and expand opportunities for lifelong learning.
To provide methodological support for the pilot project, consultation meetings were held from 19 to 30 October 2026 with the University’s academic staff involved in delivering master’s and doctoral educational programmes.
During the meetings, instructors were introduced to the functional capabilities of the adle.kz platform. Particular attention was given to the structure and content of online courses, the requirements for preparing and uploading educational content and teaching and learning materials, and the procedures for organising the activities of instructors and students on the platform.
The consultation meetings constituted one of the stages in preparing online courses and integrating the adle.kz platform into the educational process at ALT University.
