From April 13 to April 16, in order to improve educational work, 1st year students (groups 3-88p, 3-89p, 3-90p, 3-91p, 3-92p, 3-93p, 3-98p, 3-97p, 3-102p) senior lecturer of the department “Language Education” together with S.A. Aliyeva, we visited the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments named after Y.Dukenula. During the tour, the students visited an exhibition of Kazakh musical instruments, as well as the exhibition “Dimash: one voice – a thousand countries”, which opened in this museum on February 18, 2026. The exhibition featured 70 unique musical instruments from the singer’s personal collection, including gifts from fans from all over the world and samples of his first dombra.
This event directly contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs:
SDG 4 (Quality education): learning outside the academic classroom and developing critical thinking.
SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities): preservation and promotion of the country’s cultural heritage.
SDG 10 (Reducing inequality): Ensuring equal access for students to global and national cultural values.
Visiting the museum allowed students to better understand the history of art, broaden their horizons and increase their interest in cultural self-development.
