As part of the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-Being,” SDG 4 “Quality Education,” SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities,” SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,” and SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”—the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health held the fourth day of Practical Psychology Week. The activities focused on working with crisis-related and maladaptive behaviour, strengthening psychological well-being, and developing effective professional interaction skills.

The event was initiated by Shabdenova Dariya Rakhimaliyevna, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, and psychologist-consultant Qapar Nurkhan Amanzholuly. It was conducted jointly with Qazbek Kamilya Qalizhankyzy, Human Resources Manager from the HR Department.

As part of the Practical Psychology Week programme, a training seminar entitled “Working with Crisis-Related and Maladaptive Behaviour” was held. The session was conducted for ALT Security Service staff by ALT specialists, who used practical exercises and projective techniques during the training.

Participants explored the characteristics of crisis-related behaviour, possible causes of adaptation difficulties, and effective approaches to interacting with students. Particular attention was given to the timely recognition of warning signs, the development of constructive communication skills, and the creation of a safe and trusting environment.

Psychological resilience begins with understanding oneself and is reflected in the ability to listen to, understand, and support others. We thank everyone who took part in the fourth day of Practical Psychology Week!
