On December 24, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of «ATSIBZHD» Yesengaliev M.N. conducted an exam in the discipline «Fundamentals of calculating the design of cars» for 4th-year students of the educational program 6B07119-«Cars and Automotive industry» (gr. AAH-22-1k,2k, AAH-22-3p) with the implementation and defense of a case study.tasks aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills in calculating the main components and systems of a car.
The purpose of completing and defending case studies was to develop students’ engineering thinking, master methods for calculating car structural elements and develop the skills to apply theoretical knowledge in solving practical problems.
The defense of the case assignments was conducted orally with an explanation of the calculation schemes and the engineering solutions adopted. The students argued the choice of calculation methods and answered control questions.
According to the results of the defense, it was established that the goals were achieved. Case studies have proven their effectiveness as a form of practice-oriented learning and have contributed to the formation of professional competencies in the field of car design calculations.
