On December 16, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the Department Day of Transport Services and Business of the Institute of Logistics and Business was held at Dormitory No. 3. The event took place in a vibrant and creative musical battle format under the theme
“Tradition and Modernity on the Road” — “Tradition VS Innovation.”
The main concept of the Department Day focused on harmonizing tradition and modernity, reflecting continuity between generations and the dynamic development of the transport sector. Traditional musical motifs were creatively combined with modern rhythms, symbolizing the connection between the past and the future.
Students and faculty members demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and active engagement. The musical battle format fostered an atmosphere of open dialogue, unity, and mutual understanding, while also strengthening the department’s corporate culture.
The event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, it contributes to SDG 4 “Quality Education” through the development of students’ creative and communication skills, SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” by enhancing professional and transferable competencies, and SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” by highlighting the role of the transport sector in sustainable urban development.
The Department Day became a meaningful event in student life, contributing to the formation of well-rounded future professionals who respect tradition while embracing innovation.
