On March 12, at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University, the Institute of Transport and Construction and the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering held a conference within the framework of SDG 9: “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.” During the event, issues regarding the implementation of digital and innovative technologies were discussed, and cutting-edge solutions for building a sustainable and secure IT infrastructure were presented.
The goal of the conference was to discuss the development prospects of IT infrastructure and the “Smart City” concept, strengthen the interaction between the industrial and academic sectors, and exchange experience in the field of digital infrastructure transformation.
The conference was attended by faculty members, students, and representatives of the industrial sector. Invited experts shared their professional expertise:
Almaz Yerkaipovich Oshanov – Director of “Saulet SKB” LLP;
Rustam Ezmakhunov – Director of “RTA Profiii” LLP.
In their speeches, the industry representatives emphasized the significance of modern digital infrastructure and the Smart City concept, presented innovative solutions and new technologies in the field of engineering networks, and reviewed “Smart City” projects and ways to implement modern IT solutions.
Participation in the conference contributed to the expansion of students’ theoretical knowledge and the development of skills for applying modern IT technologies in their professional activities.
