Employees of ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev visited the Traffic Management Center (TMC) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between academia and organizations within the transport sector.
During the visit, university representatives were introduced to the Center’s activities, organizational structure, and key areas of operation. TMC specialists showcased modern traffic flow monitoring technologies, demonstrated traffic management systems in action, and provided insights into measures aimed at improving road safety, traffic capacity, and the overall efficiency of the city’s transport infrastructure.
Particular attention was given to the digital transformation of the transport sector, the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and the preparation of highly qualified professionals capable of working in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
The parties also discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the organization of industrial and research internships for students, the implementation of joint educational and scientific events, and the development of initiatives focused on preparing specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market.
Such visits contribute to strengthening collaboration between the University and leading transport organizations, expanding opportunities for practice-oriented education, and enabling future professionals to gain first-hand knowledge of advanced transportation management technologies.
