Kazakhstan’s manufacturing industry is one of the key drivers of the country’s industrial development. Today, particular emphasis is placed on production localization, the adoption of advanced technologies, and the preparation of highly skilled engineering professionals capable of working in modern high-tech industries. In this context, strengthening cooperation between universities and industrial enterprises has become an essential factor in developing competitive specialists who meet the evolving demands of the labor market.

As one of Kazakhstan’s leading technical universities, ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev is committed to practice-oriented education, expanding collaboration with industrial partners, and creating opportunities for students to develop the professional skills required by today’s engineering sector.

A significant step in this direction was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between ALT University and KazTechna LLP.

KazTechna LLP is a Kazakhstani manufacturing company specializing in the assembly of modern Yutong city, intercity, and coach buses. The company applies advanced manufacturing technologies, provides comprehensive after-sales service, and makes a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s automotive manufacturing industry and the modernization of the country’s public transport system.

Under the memorandum, the parties agreed to develop long-term cooperation in several strategic areas. These include organizing industrial and pre-graduation internships, expanding dual education opportunities, supporting graduate employment, conducting joint research projects, and organizing seminars, workshops, and guest lectures delivered by the company’s specialists.

The partnership also provides for employer participation in the enhancement of the University’s academic programs, professional knowledge exchange, and the implementation of joint initiatives in automotive engineering, manufacturing technologies, digitalization of production processes, and the education of a new generation of engineering professionals.

Cooperation with KazTechna LLP will provide ALT University students with valuable opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment, learn advanced bus assembly technologies, participate in real production processes, and develop professional competencies under the guidance of experienced engineers.

The signing of the memorandum once again demonstrates ALT University’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with Kazakhstan’s leading industrial enterprises and preparing highly qualified engineers capable of contributing to the sustainable development of the country’s manufacturing and transport sectors.
