A thematic educational event dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 13 “Climate Action” was organized by the Department of Transport Construction with the participation of first-year students majoring in Cadastre.
The main objective of the event was to increase students’ interest in quality education while fostering a responsible attitude toward environmental protection. In addition, the event aimed to enhance participants’ environmental awareness and to develop proactive individuals who are not indifferent to global challenges such as climate change.
During the event, lecturers shared their professional experience and provided informative insights into the causes and consequences of climate change. Students actively engaged in discussions, expressing their views on environmental issues. Special attention was given to nature conservation, efficient use of resources, and the development of ecological culture.
As part of the event, students also demonstrated their creativity by presenting various ideas and projects on environmental topics. This contributed to the development of their critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
In conclusion, the event not only improved students’ knowledge but also played a significant role in shaping their environmental awareness. Such initiatives help increase youth engagement and strengthen their sense of responsibility toward pressing societal issues.
