On April 25, 2025, the Department of Energy hosted an educational and methodological seminar on the topic: “Innovative Teaching Methods for Specialized Disciplines in Technical Universities: From Theory to Practice” Seminar speakers: PhD, Assistant Professor Kaliev Zh.Zh. and Assistant Lecturer Ualieva Zh.T.
During the seminar, modern approaches to student training were discussed, focusing on the use of the SimInTech platform within the framework of the discipline “Automatic Control Systems” for students of the IT-Energy educational program.
Special attention was given to developing students’ practical skills in modeling, optimization, and digital design as part of the learning process.
The seminar also addressed the following topics: – Development of models for objects and automatic control systems (ACS); – Comprehensive optimization and program code generation; -Practical examples of creating complex technical system models.
The seminar contributed to the exchange of experience among instructors on the integration of innovative technologies into the educational process, the activation of research activities, and the improvement of the quality of training specialists in the fields of electrical power engineering and automation.
