As part of the celebration of Independence Day, on December 19, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport Services and Business Sugurova A.Zh. and Senior Lecturer Igenbayeva Sh.A., together with students of group F-25-1k, organized an educational excursion to the National Bank Museum. During the event, students became acquainted with the history of the formation of the country’s financial system, the stages of development of the national currency, and the significance of economic independence. This educational visit enabled students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and contributed to the expansion of their professional and civic perspectives.
The event is directly related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, SDG 4 “Quality Education” was addressed through the enhancement of students’ financial and economic literacy, SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” through understanding the mechanisms of national economic development, and SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” was reflected through the activities of the National Bank. Such meaningful and educational events contribute to strengthening the patriotic spirit of the younger generation and to the formation of qualified specialists capable of contributing to the sustainable development of independent Kazakhstan.
