On October 22, M. Tynyshpaev ALT University hosted a guest lecture titled «Permissible Distances to Live Parts», delivered by Mr. Talgat Zhanseitov, Leading Engineer for Occupational Safety and Health at the Almaty Power Supply Distance of the branch of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» – «Almaty Directorate of the Main Network».
During the lecture, Mr. Zhanseitov provided a detailed overview of the safety standards and regulations when working near live electrical parts, the permissible distances, the rules for operating electrical installations, and the protective measures for personnel.
He focused special attention on the practical aspects of ensuring electrical safety at railway facilities and emphasized the importance of strict compliance with technical regulations and safety instructions.
Students gained valuable knowledge about the principles of safe operation of electrical equipment — essential for training qualified specialists in the fields of railway electrification and power engineering.
