On September 23, 2026, the Department of Social Sciences and Human Development of ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev held an educational event as part of the “National Sports — Spirit of the Nation” week.
During the event, students were introduced to the history and characteristics of national sports and traditional games such as Togyzkumalak, Asyk Atu, Kazakh Kuresi, Kokpar, Zhamby Atu, and equestrian sports. Participants also actively took part in interactive activities dedicated to national games.
The event was attended by conference speakers, who communicated with students and shared their views and insights.
The main objectives of the event were to promote national sports, preserve national values, and encourage a healthy lifestyle among young people.

As part of the National Day “National Sports — Spirit of the Nation,” activities were held to promote national sports, encourage young people to engage in physical activity, and foster a healthy lifestyle. - SDG 6 — “Clean Water and Sanitation”
As part of the National Day, particular attention was paid to ensuring the health and safety of participants in sporting activities, maintaining sanitary and hygienic standards, and raising awareness of the importance of clean drinking water.
