On April 14, 2026, M. Tynyshpayev ALT University hosted an inclusive development session aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 and SDG 10) and the University’s Equality and Inclusion Policy.
The event was initiated by Dariya Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Youth Health, for a diverse group of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). The session was supported by the Youth Policy Department of Almaty and implemented in partnership with the “Sana” Intellectual Youth School under the “Every Person Matters” project.
The highlights included a “Self-Esteem Practical Intensive” led by Aigerim Suleimenova, Head of the Psychological Service at Satbayev University. During the session, students and advisors:

Assessed their self-esteem levels and analyzed personal growth resources;

Developed practical confidence-building skills;

Strengthened their commitment to fostering a non-discriminatory academic environment.
This event represents a significant contribution to promoting a culture of equality, respect, and inclusive interaction at ALT University.
