On November 14, 2025, as part of the “Industrialization, Innovation and Infrastructure” initiative, a creative competition in the discipline “3D Modeling and Visualization” was held for first-year students.
The event aimed to enhance interest in modern digital technologies, strengthen 3D modeling skills, and prepare students for the demands of the future IT industry.
Participants were divided into four teams:
RenderForce (captain — Ramazan Orynbek),
PolyMasters (captain — Ali Amanov),
FormLab (captain — Bauyrzhan Sakhyev),
LightCraft (captain — Miras Nurkasym).
During the competition, students:
- created artistic 3D projects in Blender on the theme “Almaty – the Digital Ecosystem of the Future”;
- answered theoretical quiz questions;
- completed a practical task — designing a 3D kitchen model in 25 minutes.
Winners received monetary prizes of 20,000, 15,000, and 10,000 KZT, while all participants and team captains were awarded certificates, diplomas, and commemorative gifts.
Over two months of preparation, students showed remarkable professional growth — progressing from junior to middle level.
The event was organized by ICT Department instructor Aigerim Kairzhanova, who initiated this practice-oriented competition to strengthen students’ 3D modeling competencies.
