On May 15, 2024, at ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev, they celebrated the 145th anniversary of the great, outstanding, first Kazakh railway engineer, after whom the university was named. The event-forum had the name: “T” generation: yesterday, today, tomorrow. The forum consisted of 2 stages. The ceremonial laying of flowers took place at the monument – the monument to M. Tynyshpayev. The flower-laying event followed the entire protocol: a minute of silence was dedicated to the memory of the departed great sons of the Kazakh people during the years of repression. University students released doves into the sky, which are a symbol of peace, goodness, freedom and hope.
The celebration continued in the Great Conference Hall. A dance group from the creative center “Sanat” performed in front of the guests, teaching staff and students. President-Rector of the University Amirgalieva Saltanat Nuradilovna began the celebration with a congratulatory speech and awarding anniversary medals to the relatives of M. Tynyshpayev, namely granddaughter Elena Tynyshpayeva and Zhunisova Nurshaken, veterans of the university and railway workers, graduates of past years, employees of the educational institution and the best students of the university. The only direct descendant, the son of the great M. Tynyshpayev, Sheikh-Ali Daulet sent a video congratulation from America, where he has lived for a long time. The creative youth of the university continued the celebration, performing dance numbers, vocal performances and a theatrical performance.
