In order to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) No. 4 – “Quality Education”, on February 19, 2026, G.S. Shamshieva, a teacher of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Physical Education, held a master class for first-year students on the topic “Formation of the Kazakh Khanate”.
The students were divided into three groups, each with their own topics: “The Formation of the Kazakh Khanate,” “Laws Adopted during the Kazakh Khanate,” and “The Governance of the Kazakh Khanate under Ablai Khan.” In each group, students presented slides and organized games based on crosswords, quizzes, and cryptograms. A student also performed a folk kuy on the dombra.
G.S. Shamshieva introduced the students to her works on the Kazakh Khanate, discussing the adoption of laws during the formation of the Kazakh Khanate, the fate of the Kazakh people during the Dzungar invasion, and the characteristics and historical significance of “The Kazakh people are the true heroes of the Kazakh Khanate, and the Kazakh people are the true heroes of the Kazakh Khanate.” She also noted the special role of heroes during the reign of Abylay Khan. Furthermore, a connection was made with the laws being adopted in our country in the new draft Constitution of the Republic.
The students and faculty of the department who participated in the master class were particularly impressed by the event.
