On September 25, students from Jas Tamir Elite School in Taraz visited ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev. As part of the campus tour, the students explored the university’s laboratories and learning spaces, learned about its academic programs and admission requirements, and had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives.
Getting to know a university is particularly important at a stage when school students begin thinking about their future careers. Seeing the learning environment firsthand, exploring the university’s facilities, and having the opportunity to ask questions help students gain a clearer understanding of the next stage of their education.
During the visit, the students were introduced to ALT University’s academic areas, degree programs, and the opportunities available to its students. Particular attention was given to admission requirements and the specifics of studying at the university.
The practical part of the campus tour took place in the university’s laboratories. The students explored the educational equipment and modern facilities used in professional training and gained an insight into how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice throughout the learning process.
Visits like these allow prospective students not only to learn more about a university but also to develop their own understanding of the educational environment, the requirements of their future profession, and the opportunities for professional development.
