On February 24, a guest lecture for students of the automotive field was held at the M. Tynyshpayev ALT University on the topic: “The career path of a road engineer: from graduate to supervisor.” The speaker was Khamzat Zhastaevich Sultanov, Director of the Akmola regional branch of NC “KazAvtoZhol” JSC, who shared his professional experience with the students, spoke about career development in the road transport industry, key stages of professional growth, as well as modern requirements for young professionals.
During the lecture, issues of road infrastructure development, employment prospects for graduates, the specifics of working in national companies and the importance of practical skills in the professional activity of a road engineer were discussed. Special attention was paid to the issues of leadership, responsibility, and continuous professional improvement. The students had the opportunity to ask interesting questions and receive valuable recommendations from the head of the practice. Holding such events helps to strengthen the link between the university and production, and also helps future specialists to better navigate their professional trajectory.
