Students of OP 6B07188 «IT Power Engineering» ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaev from November 10 to November 14, 2025, completed training in the framework of dual education on the basis of Alatau Zharyk Companiyasy JSC in the discipline «Automation of control systems and telemechanics of an electric substation».
Classes are taught by the Deputy Head of the operational Dispatch Department for modes-Sahi Zaure Bolatovna, which provides students with the opportunity to get practical knowledge directly from specialists with experience in the power system.
The dual training program combines theoretical training and practical work at the company’s facilities, allowing students to:
– study modern automation and telemechanics systems of electrical substations;
– Work with SCADA, EMS, DMS, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
– apply skills in collecting, processing, and analyzing data from sensors and actuators.
– participate in monitoring, diagnostics and optimization of power equipment operation;
– develop practical competencies that are in demand in digital energy and control system automation.
This approach allows students to combine academic training with real-world practice, which contributes to the formation of professional competence and preparation for a successful career in the energy sector.
