On September 30, 2026, ALT University hosted a guest lecture dedicated to cadastre and land relations. The event was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering.
The guest speaker was Toleubek Pentaev, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor of the MDIG Department at Satbayev University.
The topic of the lecture was:
“The History of the Formation and Development of Land Law Relations in the Republic of Kazakhstan”
During the lecture, the main stages in the formation of land relations in Kazakhstan, the historical development of land legislation, the distinctive features of the land law system, and current issues related to cadastral activities were discussed in detail.
In addition to theoretical material, the speaker shared examples from his professional experience and emphasized the importance of effective land resource management and the continued improvement of the cadastral system.
Students had an opportunity to ask questions and exchange views directly with an experienced specialist. This informative meeting broadened their professional outlook, strengthened their theoretical knowledge, and helped them better understand the importance of their future profession.
