On December 24, 2025, a guest lecture titled “Ensuring Transport Safety” was held at the Institute of Logistics and Business, Department of Transport Services and Business. The lecture was delivered by Yerlan Mazhitovich Kaundykov, Chief Engineer of Almaty-1 Station.
During the lecture, the speaker shared practical experience in ensuring transport safety, preventing occupational risks, and complying with labor protection requirements at transport facilities. Special attention was paid to the prevention of traffic violations, the development and observance of regulatory standards, as well as the role of each employee in ensuring safe working conditions.
It was emphasized that ensuring transport safety is possible only through the conscientious, responsible, and disciplined performance of professional duties by all employees. The importance of personal discipline and a strong safety culture at production facilities was also highlighted.
The guest lecture corresponds to the Sustainable Development Goals of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in particular SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” (Target 8.8 — ensuring safe and secure working environments), and contributes to the development of students’ practical competencies and responsible professional attitudes in the transport sector.
