Second-year students of the 6B06116 Information Systems educational program visited the M.O. Auezov Literary and Memorial House Museum in Almaty. This cultural and educational activity was aimed at increasing students’ interest in historical and cultural heritage and deepening their understanding of national literature.

During the excursion, students learned about the life and creative path of Mukhtar Auezov, an outstanding representative of Kazakh literature, a renowned writer, and a distinguished scholar. The museum house is a historical site where the writer spent the final years of his life. It was here that he completed his famous novel-epic “The Path of Abai.”

Throughout the visit, students explored the writer’s study, personal library, household belongings, manuscripts, and historical photographs. Particular interest was shown in the room where Mukhtar Auezov carried out his literary work. The museum exhibits provided students with a deeper understanding of the writer’s life and rich creative legacy.

In addition, museum staff offered detailed information about Mukhtar Auezov’s literary, academic, and public activities, as well as his significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and culture. Students actively participated in the excursion, asked questions, and demonstrated great interest in the exhibits and materials presented.

At the end of the visit, students shared their impressions and emphasized the importance of such cultural and educational excursions in broadening horizons, supporting personal development, and fostering respect for historical and cultural heritage. Overall, the visit to the M.O. Auezov Literary and Memorial House Museum was a meaningful, informative, and memorable experience for the students.
