On December 12, 2025, in connection with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ALT University organized a sports tournament for first-year students called “Free Children of a Free Country.” As part of this tournament, a chess competition was held, during which the top players were determined through an intellectual contest.
The participants demonstrated strong logical thinking skills, the ability to make strategic decisions, and perseverance. The chess tournament contributed to the development of students’ intellectual potential, strengthened their patriotic spirit, and promoted a healthy lifestyle.
This event highlighted the support for the young citizens of an independent country, their all-round development, and the university’s systematic work in educational and developmental activities.
