Within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 11 — creating sustainable cities and communities — the topic “Stability of Compressed Members” was prepared and presented as a substantial work in the discipline “Strength of Materials” with the participation of lecturers from the Department of Transport Construction and students.
During the work, students studied the calculation of long columns under axial compression, analyzed issues of stability mechanics and their importance for designing safe, reliable, and resource-efficient structures. Particular attention was paid to the role of engineering solutions in the development of modern urban infrastructure.
