As part of expanding international cooperation and modernizing its academic infrastructure, an ALT University delegation visited YALONG Intelligent Equipment Group in Wenzhou, China. YALONG is a global leader in the development of intelligent educational equipment, industrial software, and turnkey solutions for engineering and technical education.

The delegation comprised Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector of ALT University; Shamil Askarovich Abdreshov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Kazbek Naimankaziyevich Orazayev, Senior Lecturer of the “Energy” Department; and Dina Alpysbayevna Smailova, Senior Lecturer of the “Radio Engineering and Telecommunications” Department.

YALONG specializes in designing and deploying intelligent hardware, digital learning solutions, and rendering high-level consulting services for universities, colleges, industrial enterprises, and organizations worldwide. Recognized as a national high-tech enterprise in China, the company holds more than 500 patents and software copyrights, and actively participates in implementing state-level scientific and technological projects, as well as developing national educational standards for industry sectors.

During the visit, the ALT University representatives toured the company’s production facilities, advanced educational technologies, and innovative laboratory complexes designed for cultivating talent in automation, electronics, energy, and telecommunications. Special interest was given to specialized hardware solutions used for training participants of international skills championships and driving practice-oriented engineering education.

Following the bilateral negotiations, the first milestone of the partnership was successfully completed: ALT University acquired cutting-edge educational equipment valued at 50 million tenge, spanning three core academic areas: energy, telecommunications, and automation & electronics.

The parties also outlined prospects for further partnership and evaluated opportunities for deploying the second stage of university laboratory equipment upgrades. Specifically, the sides addressed the integration of contemporary educational technologies, the expansion of hands-on, practice-oriented training, and collaborative measures in technical workforce development.

The newly acquired hardware will enable students to build practical competencies on advanced training complexes that meet international benchmarks, significantly elevating the quality of high-demand specialist training for the high-tech sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy.

ALT University continues to reinforce international alliances and foster a modern, high-tech educational ecosystem to train the next generation of engineers.
