On May 19, 2023 a job fair “WorkFest” was held at the Academy of Logistics and Transport, where students and graduates had the opportunity to meet with representatives of prestigious companies. At this event, they were provided with information about available vacancies, internships and career development programs.
About 40 companies took part in the youth job fair and they offered more than 100 jobs.
Students had the opportunity to interview directly with company leaders, and employers assessed the potential of young applicants and selected suitable candidates. Approximately 70 percent of academy graduates were present at the fair and decided on companies where they would like to work or take an internship.
The fair brought together large companies in the areas of railway, road transport, wagon and locomotive facilities, construction of roads and railways, as well as in the field of artificial structures, gas and oil pipelines and related industries.
As part of the fair, a special Speed Recruiting format was also organized, allowing students not only to have interviews with company representatives, but also to evaluate their skills. Active students were given coupons by employers to participate in the lottery, where the most active participants received valuable gifts as commemorative prizes.
