On December 21, at the Department of “Language Training” a scientific seminar was held on the topic “Methods of scientific research”. The seminar was conducted by senior lecturer Akynova Zh. M.
The seminar was devoted to the research paradigm and types of research methods. Speaker focused on the types of quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods of scientific research. Deductive methods in quantitative research and inductive methods in qualitative research were discussed. In addition, the advantages of qualitative and quantitative research were considered.
