On April 16 of the current year, a meaningful round table discussion was held at the university among higher education students within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle on the topic “Law in the City.”

The main purpose of the event was to enhance the legal literacy of young people, deepen their understanding of the rule of law in society, and foster civic responsibility. During the round table, participants discussed issues of public order in the city, prevention of offenses, the culture of law compliance, and the role of youth in building a legal state.

The meeting, held in an open dialogue format, strengthened students’ legal awareness, allowed them to freely express their opinions, and helped them define their place in society.

The event is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

  • SDG 4 — Quality Education: expanding legal knowledge and developing essential life skills among youth.
  • SDG 16 — Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: promoting the rule of law and fostering legal culture.
  • SDG 11 — Sustainable Cities and Communities: addressing issues of public safety and urban order.

Such meaningful meetings not only improve youth legal literacy but also contribute to the development of active civic engagement.
